Some quick facts about moi: I have always lived by the sea (except for college years, which I did not really fancy all that much) and I am settling for now by the Atlantic Ocean. I adore bridges and late night walks tuning in to the subtle chaos of the city. I am the star of my own kitchen and I love to entertain. I love my family, I love my friends and I miss them a lot. I love traveling and my best memories took place in cities all around the world from La Habana to Amsterdam, Paris to New York. I am up for the unexpected fun and I don't like to overplan my trips. About my blog: My blog has no central theme whatsoever. I just post whatever I feel like that day. I am maintaining it for myself more than anything as I have a memory weaker than the average fish. Though, if you, the random person, stumbled upon my blog and are enjoying it, I am glad you are here. Browse away!

Strange encounter with a broker today… First of all, I shall note that the broker I met with today was VERY easy on my eyes. Yet he took me to his supervisor’s office who was really hard on my nerves.
I was told the fee was negotiable but they had me fill out a form and the form mandates the potential tenant to pay the full standard fee. So I filled out everything but did not sign the form. So this supervisor dude twice marked the signature field and asked me to sign. When I explained why I prefer not to sign, he decided to tore apart the form in front of me frantically. Luckily the actual broker was very nice about it and he sort of apologized. On the way out, the sweet broker proceeds to show me apartments on his phone and at this point he is acting nervous as if he will get caught and get fired. It was an awkward experience to say the least.
Why does it have to be so complicated to find a place to live in this city?
