Some quick facts about moi: I have always lived by the sea (except for college years, which I did not really fancy all that much) and I am settling for now by the Atlantic Ocean. I adore bridges and late night walks tuning in to the subtle chaos of the city. I am the star of my own kitchen and I love to entertain. I love my family, I love my friends and I miss them a lot. I love traveling and my best memories took place in cities all around the world from La Habana to Amsterdam, Paris to New York. I am up for the unexpected fun and I don't like to overplan my trips. About my blog: My blog has no central theme whatsoever. I just post whatever I feel like that day. I am maintaining it for myself more than anything as I have a memory weaker than the average fish. Though, if you, the random person, stumbled upon my blog and are enjoying it, I am glad you are here. Browse away!

No one wants to die. Even people who want to go to heaven don’t want to die to get there. And yet death is the destination we all share. No one has ever escaped it. And that is as it should be, because Death is very likely the single best invention of Life. It is Life’s change agent. It clears out the old to make way for the new. Right now the new is you, but someday not too long from now, you will gradually become the old and be cleared away. Sorry to be so dramatic, but it is quite true.

Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.
