And oh for the record despite the hurricane and any other natural disaster you can image that might hit the city, I am extremely glad I am not back in Lewisburg.
This week has absolutely been insane. It started with an earthquake on Tuesday which we first thought (traumatized by being right next to the ground zero) was terrorists attacking our building. After I was convinced it was an earthquake, I wasn’t sure which scenario could have scared me more (this time traumatized by 1999 earthquakes in the ‘home’land.)

The New York subway system is getting to be really interesting. Yesterday on the way to work Stephan and I saw this alcoholic bitch snuggling with a jumbo size beer can. I know have my own personal Elrona. She is at work right now cleaning my floors. I am talking to her telling she is hitting a wall but she doesn’t seem to trust me. She hits three times blinks her lights and slide away. When she is done sweeping, I will have her mop. I love it!!!
This is the best feeling in the world. Moved into my first actual apartment that I don’t actually have to share. After a long day took a long shower in MY bathroom and now I am in MY bed. Now I am happy.
I finally signed the lease! I am not moving until my landlady kicks me out. I am NOT going through this process again.
Settling in this weekend and GenGen is helping me move! I already have friends in the city that extend a helping hand. I am so thankful!
I officially have a place to live! I am right by central park in an amazing neighborhood! I am so extremely happy. It was an insanely stressful process but it is so worth it!
I just realized people are going back to school soon. I am SO glad that I am not going back to Bucknell. My life is so much better and I am so much happier away from Lewisburg.
